Safeguarding Governance Review Published

A new review of safeguarding governance arrangements in Wales has highlighted opportunities to strengthen leadership, accountability, intelligence sharing and learning across the safeguarding system.

The review recognises the strong foundations already in place, including Regional Safeguarding Boards, partnership working and safeguarding review processes. It recommends building on these strengths through a more coordinated, intelligence-led approach, while retaining the important role of regional boards.
