Consultation on the South Wales Police and Crime Plan

As you may be aware, the South Wales Police and Crime Commissioner, Emma Wools, is developing a new Police and Crime Plan. This Plan is intended to reflect local priorities, and as such the Commissioner is currently consulting on what should be included in the Plan.

The consultation includes a survey, which can be completed by anyone aged 18+ who lives or works in South Wales. This survey should take fewer than 10 minutes to complete and we encourage you to consider filling it out, as well as sharing it with colleagues, family members and friends. A survey for children and young people is also in development, and the PCC's Office will be able to share this soon.

In addition to the survey,  the Commissioner is running a  small grants scheme, ‘Tell Emma’, providing up to £500 for grass roots organisations to facilitate feedback sessions within their communities. Grants through ‘Tell Emma’ can be used to cover costs associated with facilitating feedback sessions with local people, victims and communities to ensure participation is as diverse as possible and that the Commissioner hears from those who are often marginalised.

Both the survey and information on ‘Tell Emma’ are accessible below:
